Easter VBS Kicked Off with Joy and Celebration!

Children learned about the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus through stories, games, coloring, and more.

The week ended with TOHH staff and children coming together for a joyful Easter celebration filled with skits, songs, delicious food and drinks, and a powerful showing of the Jesus Film. It was a beautiful reminder of why we celebrate—Jesus Christ is risen!

In Haiti, flying kites during Easter isn’t just a fun tradition—it’s full of meaning. Each kite soaring into the sky reminds us of Jesus' ascension 40 days after His resurrection.
Just as Jesus was lifted into Heaven, kites rise as beautiful symbols of victory, hope, and new life. (And of course, it's a lot of fun too!)

We wish you a blessed and joyful Easter as we celebrate our resurrected King, Jesus!
Because He lives, we have hope. The tomb is empty, the promise fulfilled, and eternal life is ours through Him. Today and every day, we rejoice that no darkness can overcome the light of Christ. He has risen, just as He said!

The team has been hard at work laying the stone retaining wall, setting rebar, and raising the walls of the caretaker’s room and storage area. Backfilling has also played a key role, creating a level, stable foundation to support the structure long-term.
Every step brings us closer to sustainable food, local jobs, and lasting hope for families in Grand-Goâve. Thank you for building with us!
