Celebrating 10 Years of Ministry in Haiti!

Gama and I would like to take this opportunity to say how blessed we are to have you in our lives.  This has been another miraculous year of ministry as God guided us in creative ways to keep our mission running and blessing those in Haiti.

Thanks be to God and your faithful support as we continued to give clean water to our community daily throughout 2023. Our biggest achievement this year besides sharing the love of Jesus with our community was the completion of the Water Cistern built on the Trade School land. This underground water storage can hold over 10,000 gallons of water. This water will not only help to build the wall and the structures needed but also to help water the gardens through an irrigation system. 
We are also grateful for the building of our 1st Transitional House, completed earlier this year. We have enough land to build 9 other houses to help families without shelter who do not own land. We believe in God for BIG things!

Lastly, our 166 kids successfully started their new school year. We pray their Christian education continues to be uninterrupted. Thank you again to all those who purchased Christmas meals. Gama is getting ready to head back to Haiti and our community has great Joy knowing they will be able to receive food and celebrate the New Year that God has blessed them with.

Are You a Child Sponsor? Many THANKS to those who have already switched over to direct TOHH website giving.

We are thankful for your faithful support through TOHH in providing a Christian education for the children of Haiti. We thank God for you and will continue our mission to spread the gospel of Jesus and bring hope to the Haitians.

For those child sponsors who give by mailing a check to our PO Box or through our TOHH website directly, the rest of this post will not pertain to you. You don't need to change a thing. We appreciate your support!

This upcoming change is with Pure Charity. We started with Pure Charity back in 2015. Pure Charity has served our organization well but as we continue to build the ministry, we believe the Lord is leading us in a direction that will help us grow even more.

With this being said, we are happy to announce that after your 2023 December donation goes through with Pure Charity, we will no longer be using Pure Charity services. With this move, we are now going to be able to provide even more support to every child who is sponsored at Tree of Hope Haiti. It will allow us to continue to move in the direction the Lord has called us to, with greater freedom and connection.

We ask that all of our sponsors please take a moment to set up automatic monthly "child sponsorship" donations through our website before the end of January 2024. We've outlined the steps for you below.

1. Go online to www.treeofhopehaiti.org/give
2. Enter the total amount you donate each month (for example $40.00 for one child, $120.00 for 3 children)
3. Click on Select Fund and select "Child Sponsorship"
4. Under Frequency, select "Monthly"
5. Select a Start Date in January
6. Click the "Continue" button
7. Then Click on "Create an account"  (this is to verify your email and allow recurring donations) 
8. Add Payment info (Card or Bank account)
9. Check the box if you would like to cover processing fees or not
10. Click on "Add a note" and list your child/children's names
11. Click on the Give and you are done!

Since we will be using our TOHH website, we will be saving 2% on processing fees which means more funding can go to your child!

NEXT Year we can add your Child Sponsorship donation to your End of Year Tax letter that we email, which will be easier for all our sponsors because your donations will all be in one place.
